Elm, Cedar
Ulmus crassifolia
Texas native tree that requires very little maintenance and care. Deciduous, growing up to 70 feet tall and 40 feet wide, this Elm forms a natural rounded canopy and displays attractive slightly exfoliating bark. Easily distinguishable from other elms by small flowers in late fall and pubescent winged seeds half an inch long.
