Hawthorn, Majestic Beauty

Raphiolepis indica 'Majestic Beauty'

Large evergreen shrub with outstanding pink blooms late spring to early summer, and naturally good form throughout the rest of the year. Irregular growth habit can be easily manipulated with regular pruning. Deer absolutely love eating these plants, be sure to avoid planting them where they are a problem. Cold and non-ventilated areas promote leaf spot disease. Although Hawthorns grow in part shade, their blooms will not be as showy unless grown in full sun.
