Designed by Horticultural Experts at Texas A&M University, it has been labeled as a disease free landscape shrub. It received the Texas Superstar designation in 2004. In 2000, three roses won the AARS award for outstanding garden performance -- this was one of them. Bright cherry-red flowers start in the Spring and persist till winter.
