This rapid growing perennial vine blooms lavender trumpet shaped flowers in the spring and early summer. It dies back to the roots when light winters arrive, and returns in the spring. Spreads up to 30 feet. Trumpet Vine is a misnomer, since it actually belongs in the Crossvine family.
