Euphorbia cotinifolia (Euphorbia, Burgundy Wine)

Euphorbia, Burgundy Wine

Euphorbia cotinifolia 'Burgundy Wine'

Discontinued

Deer Resistant annual that performs very well in the Texas heat as long as planted in well drained soils. Dark burgundy leaves give a beautiful sight when topped with the attractive yellow flowers that appear in summer to fall.

Euphorbia is an annual in all of southern Texas where a light frost will make all the leaves drop, but will return unless freezing temperatures persist for a few days days. Mulching will improve the odds it returns in the spring.
