Semi-evergreen thorny shrub valued for its robust display of red berries in the fall / winter. A quick grower that does demand some maintenance, otherwise becomes a large upright shrub. Clusters of white flowers are somewhat fragrant. Needs full sun for berries. Tolerates hot and dry conditions well.
