Bulbous perennial plants native to South Africa.

 

Produces spectacular large funnel shaped flowers in spring, rising above the large strap leaves that average two feet long. Flowers can be many shades and streaks of red, purple, white, and pinks. 

Provide well drained, most fertile soil. Mulch if growing in freezing areas.
