'Early Sunrise'
The flower petals start out as a funnel but open up, giving the semi-double bloom appearance.

Perennial reaching up to four feet in height, displaying golden-yellow blooms spring to fall. Very vigorous grower that can fill a flower bed quickly, it self propagates easily returning in the spring. Cut flowers dry well in arrangments. Blooms vigorously with deadheading, however is fine without it.
'Early Sunrise' has semi-double flowers early summer to early fall.
Jethro Tull (PP#18798) is a cross between the 'Zamphir' and 'Early Sunrise' cultivars with broader petals and an extended blooming period. Mature size is 15-18 inches tall with 18-24 inch spread. The petals hold their funnel shape much longer.
