Fast growing evergreen native to Brazil that is a Perennial in Southern Texas, annual Central to Northern Texas.

A fast growing perennial shrub with a prolific display of light blue flowers appearing on the new growth from summer to frost, followed by poisonous small golden fruits that can weigh down the branches giving it an arching & spreading look. Flower show is best when planted in full sun but tolerates filtered shade.

Absense of pest issues and the attractive flower display earned this plant recognition as  Texas Superstar tm.
